How do you market a DOPE movie on socials? You create some DOPE video content. Digital Media Management was tasked by Open Road Films to create social video content for the critically acclaimed 2015 film DOPE.
Our goal was simple: create a series of fun, engaging videos that leveraged current events and trends. Each video was carefully conceptualized and produced for maximum shareability across all relevant social media platforms. Our content included animated quotes, trailer breakdowns, review showcases, and “Buzzfeed style” list videos.
In the month leading up to the film’s release, the seven animated videos we created generated over 1 million views—six times the amount of fans on DOPE's social accounts.
